2006 - Plein air painting in Colorado. Taught plein air painting in beautiful Redstone.
2006 - Paintings shown in API Show at Barnsite Gallery in Wisconsin.
2005 - Taught server plein air painting workshops in northern New Mexico. Excellent weather and beautiful scenery.
2004 - Julia and the members of Alla Prima International participated in a showing of their paintings at Nichols Taos Fine Art Gallery, May 7-June12.

2004 - Julia participated in the Angle Fire Plein Air Paint Off May 12-15. Her painting recieved third place as was purchased by Marion Jackson.
2004 - Selected for the eighth time to participate in the Oild Painters of America Show (2004 National) - her painting "Spring Thaw", 14 x 18, was displayed in the show at Howard/Mandville Gallery, May 20-June20.

2004 and 2005 - In July, Julia and four other artists painted the gorgeous scenery of Crystal Creek, CO, the Taylor River and around Crested Butte. Her favorite was a beautiful waterfall. A September trip is planned to return to Crystal Creek to paint the fall colors.
Julia was awarded Signature Membership in Oil Painters of America on October 29, 2001.
In June 2002, Julia painted in Colorado. In August, she joined other API artists to paint around Bar Harbor and Sebasco, Maine.
In the fall of 2002, she participated in Alla Prima International gallery shows at Argosy Gallery, Bar Harbor, Main, Riverbend Gallery, Marblefalls, Texas, and Brazier Fine Art Gallery, Richmond, Virginia.
In September, 2002, her work was featured along with Angie Yazzie in a special showing at Taos Mosaic Gallery.
In 2002, Julia was invited to display her work in the Springs Seven Show (Nov.) and Christmas show at Abend Gallery in Denver, Colorado.
Selected to participate in Arizona Sonoran Desert Museum Plein Air 2003. This was an exciting painting experience. Julia and her painting "buddy" Helgy White toured the Petrified Forest and Painted Desert, then went on to stay in Globe, AZ where they painted for week all around Roosevelt Lake. On Jan. 24 they went on to Tucson where Julia delivered her paintings and participated in the Quick Draw, attended the Artist's Reception and the Grand Opening held Feb. 1. On February 2 they went to Scottsdale enjoying the galleries and viewing Masterworks from El Greco to Picasso at the Phoenix Art Museum. The next day it was on to Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon.
April 23-May 6, 2003, API joined Julia and Helgy to paint all around Taos.
